I’m probably going to be the only one who gets this for myself LOL but here are some make-up essentials :)
1. Urban Decay Naked Palette 2
NEED. NEED. NEED. The colours in the first palette were beautiful, neutral colours and this palette has a new set of those colours as well as some of the favourites from the first. I think that the Naked palettes are great for every day wear for those who don’t want too much colour in their every day makeup :)
2. Stila Kajal Eye Liner in Topaz
The colour is almost a peach colour, it’s a great replacement for white. Sometimes, white can be too intense with a look and a good way to balance it out is with a peachy/skin tone colour and the Topaz eyeliner does great for that.
3. Urban Decay All-Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
This is specifically for me but if you feel your make-up is not lasting longer enough, a couple of sprays of this and you’re make up will last up to 16 hours. So, there is no worry for your make up sweating off.
4. Philosophy Lip Balms and Exfoliants in Melon Daiquiri, Raspberry Sorbet, Vanilla Birthday Cake and Blue Hawaiian
Okay, you can never have too many lipgloss. But these lip glosses serve as an exfoliant and treatment to your lips! So, goodbye chapped lips and help moisturized, exfoliated lips :) Not only that, but aren’t the flavours delish?
5. Make Up Forever HD Microfinish Powder
This is great if you don’t want to use so much make up on your face. This colourless powder gives off the same effect as a matte powder foundation.
6. Yves Saint Laurent Lipstick in Coral Sun
I’ve been on the search for the perfect coral lipstick and I think this definitely is the one. Coral is a great look if your makeup is simple or if your eyeshadow is intense. It won’t take away from the intense makeup but will complement the simple, subtle look.
7. Make Up Forever HD Microperfecting Primer in 0 Neutral
Make up primer is crucial especially on my skin seeing as it’s oily and it will diminish my foundation quickly. By using primer, (this is oil-free too), it will prepare your face to keep and hold the foundation. The same function as eye primer and eyeshadow. This makeup primer comes in 6 colour primers and 1 transparent one. The colours have different functions for different skins, you can read the uses here: http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P217906&categoryId=C13402.
8. Sephora Collection Makeup Studio Blockbuster or BH Cosmetics 120 Colour Palette 3rd Edition
I’m still contemplating on which one to get! The Sephora comes with lip glosses, eyeliner, mascara, brushes, blushes and bronzers. I mean, it comes with a teal eyeliner! So cute. And the BH cosmetics are beautiful colours, separated neutrals and colours at a great price. It’s on sale for 30 bucks right now where Sephora is just a little more 50 for more in the kit. AH, WHAT TO DO? I think I’m leaning more towards the Sephora but BH Cosmetics palette is definitely something I’m thinking of getting still.
9. Sephora Collection False Eye Lashes
I have no eyelashes, so I depend on these when I want to intensify my eyes. Eyelashes really do make a difference.
10. NARS Blush/Bronzer Trio
